Mayr-Melnhof Huettemann have many production sites, the main glulam manufacturing site is based in Wismar, Germany and has the capacity to produce 150,000 m3 per year.
The site has many benefits, most notable of which is the synergy between Mayr Melnhof Huettemann site and the other manufacturers based in the same industrial site. All of the factories work together to make use of each others waste material, meaning they all operate in a sustainable way and the overall waste from all of the manufacturers is vastly reduced.
